Eagle Creek is home to Eagle Creek Park, the largest park in Indianapolis and one of the largest municipal parks in the nation! Right off of the Northwest side of I-465, Eagle Creek is where Lori Shuck and her family live, enjoying a beautifully wooded lot. Unfortunately, Lori noticed smoke coming back into the home when they used the fireplace. She was also concerned about some deteriorating brick and crown on the chimney.

Brick + Ember Outfitters’ team of experts determined that it would be best to do a partial rebuild on the chimney, which fixed the dilapidated brick. A new concrete crown was installed on the roof as well to help water flow away from the chimney, helping to prevent any future damage. A new step and counter flashing was installed at the base of the chimney and the roofline, which will help prevent future leaks. Finally, Brick + Ember Outfitters also installed a new stainless steel rain cap to prevent rain, snow, animals, and debris from entering. After five days of work, the chimney was repaired, and the family could once again enjoy a fire without having smoke invade the room.
